Baltimore remained calm for essentially the most part Wednesday. Protests have been peaceable and responsible. We stay beneath a 10 p.m. city curfew, which has impacted our night schedule and will achieve this for at least two more days. Our evening lessons in Baltimore are being carried out online, however our daytime activities are totally again on track. Although our lives have returned to our traditional every day rhythms, as residents of Baltimore we all know we now have our work reduce out for us. Friday marks the day the community had anticipated additional reviews on the occasions leading to Freddie GrayĆ¢€™s dying. Now we're learning that this timeline could have been too aggressive and that we will have to wait longer to begin to know the police actions. This is prone to add to anxieties and can heighten feelings. There are also demonstrations deliberate throughout Baltimo re for the weekend, which we hope shall be peaceful. Given where the Carey School is located, we now have experienced visitors tie-ups however no proximate danger. That stated, we work and live in Baltimore and know we are going to play a job in fixing what has basically caused this unrest. It is evident that it doesn't matter what the investigation into Mr. GrayĆ¢€™s demise reveals, the longstanding ills of many of our neighborhoods will continue to include a lack of jobs and infrastructure. We are a enterprise school. We know a lot about both these issues. We shall be part of the solution. Knowing that helps to maintain me upbeat. As I noted yesterday, we remain in a one-day-at-a-time mode. So far, things are looking up. Bernie Posted 100 International Drive
